Introduction
This notice describes how Sygnaptica processes the personal data of visitors to sygnaptica.com and of those who use the services connected to the ORKESTA product. Processing complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and with Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
Data Controller
The data controller is Sygnaptica, VAT number 05760500289, based in Padua, Italy. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as the conditions set out in Article 37 GDPR do not apply. Data We Collect
We process two categories of data. The data you give us when you fill in the contact form or the demo request form: name, email address, company, phone number and the text of your message. The data collected automatically by the web server logs: IP address, browser and operating system, requested page, date and time of the request. We do not process special categories of data and we carry out no profiling or automated decision-making.
Legal Basis
We answer form submissions on the basis of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6.1.b GDPR). We keep server logs and apply security measures on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and protected from abuse (Article 6.1.f GDPR). We send marketing messages only to those who have given explicit consent, which can be withdrawn at any time (Article 6.1.a GDPR). We meet tax and accounting duties on the basis of a legal obligation (Article 6.1.c GDPR).
How We Use Data
We use the data to answer contact and demo requests, to manage the contractual relationship with customers, to keep the site secure and working and, with your consent only, to send you marketing messages. Data is never sold to third parties nor used for purposes other than those stated here.
Retention
We keep contact and demo form data for 24 months from the last exchange, unless the request turns into a contract: in that case statutory terms apply, ten years for tax and accounting records. Web server logs are kept for 12 months. Data used for marketing messages is deleted when consent is withdrawn.
Recipients and Transfers
Data is accessible to authorised staff and to the suppliers acting as processors: the provider of the infrastructure hosting the site and the service that delivers the emails generated by the forms. The site loads assets exclusively from the cdn.sygnaptica.com domain, which we operate: there are no third-party fonts, scripts, maps or videos. Data is processed on servers located in the European Union and no transfer to third countries takes place.
Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, to rectify or erase it, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Write to [email protected]: we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
Data Security
We apply technical and organisational measures suited to protecting data from unauthorised access, loss or destruction: encryption in transit, encryption at rest, named access limited to those who need it, access logging and regular backups.
